At Centralia Beauty College, we’re dedicated to helping students avoid financial obstacles. We provide financial aid options specifically for our cosmetology program, including scholarships, grants, and loans. As part of enrolling, creating a financial plan is essential. Our friendly financial aid team is here to assist you through this process, helping you explore all available resources to make your education affordable.
Centralia Beauty College is approved by the US Department of Education to offer Federal Financial Aid to those that qualify. To apply for the FAFSA visit studentaid.gov. Our school code is 042747.
Other financial options include in-school payment plans and various scholarship/grant options.

- 24 Hours a Week (Part Time)

Types of Financial Aid
Federal loans are financial assistance from the government designed to help eligible students pay for their education. Unlike free grants, loans must be repaid with interest after graduation. Unlike federal loans, private loans typically have higher interest rates and may require a credit check or cosigner. Repayment terms vary by lender and are often less flexible than federal loans. Private loans can cover tuition, room and board, textbooks, and other educational expenses not covered by other financial aid. It’s important for students to carefully review the terms and conditions of private loans before borrowing to fully understand their repayment obligations.
Grants are financial aid that students don’t have to pay back. They’re given based on financial need or other criteria like academic performance or background. Grants can come from federal or state governments, colleges, private organizations, or employers. They cover expenses like tuition, fees, room and board, and sometimes books and supplies. To apply, students usually need to meet specific eligibility requirements set by the grant provider.
Scholarships are awards given to students based on criteria like academic achievements, sports abilities, or special talents. Unlike loans, scholarships don’t need to be paid back, so they’re free money for students. They can come from schools, organizations, community groups, employers, or individuals and can cover tuition, fees, and other educational costs. To apply, students usually need to submit an application, which might include essays, recommendations, or proof of eligibility. Scholarships are a great way for students to fund their education without taking on debt.

I really loved attending Centralia Beauty College. I enjoyed the people in the program and felt comfortable around the students and teachers. They helped me and always took me seriously. and have taught me well, showing me the good and the bad. They educated me hands on as well as with pencil and paper. I would have never thought i would like attending the program as a guy just looking for barbering classes not highlights perms color pedicures etc… Over the time I did learn that knowing more will get you further. I do not regret attending Centralia Beauty College and I thank all my teachers for getting me through it.
My daughter and niece are so happy at CBC!! They drive all the way from Olympia and it’s worth it! The instructors go over and above to make sure the students and the clients are happy.
When Centralia Beauty College or Steve and Rhea are brought up in my life, the first thing that comes to my mind is excellent. They go above and beyond for their students and staff. my time there exceeded expectations all around From the amazing instructors to the facility and the curriculum. If it wasn’t for the wonderful support of the staff and pushing me to never give up and keep going forward I wouldn’t have had the foundation to be the confident stylist, calm, education hungry stylist I am today. Any time CBC is mentioned or someone is thinking about doing hair I highly recommend that they reach out and at least do a tour!
I personally graduated from this school and I can legitimately say that it is a great school. The instructors are AMAZING and prepare you so much for when you move onto working in the real world. They’re there to truly help you and push you to be your best and they have the best personalities. The owners are GREAT and very good at what they do.
